An analytic element for concentrated leakage and transient storage

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The present paper is a brief description of an analytic element for approximating leakage and transient storage in regional groundwater flow models. A detailed derivation of the elements will be published separately. This paper is concerned with the basic idea of the functions, and how they can be applied to the modeling of both leakage between aquifers and transient flow.
