Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to stablish a comparison between some finite element and finite difference techniques to solve the wave operator together with the boundary operator. We have applied numerical implementations to three dielectric structures, and the results are presented by proceeding normalization on the wavevector and the propagation constant.
