Abstract

We study relaxation oscillators which consist of a relay with negative integral feedback. For such a system analytic expressions can be derived for the range of period and amplitude of a driving signal for which entrainment is attained. Feedback interconnection of two such relay oscillators and the possibility of their mutual entrainment is considered. We note the possibility of synchrony in lattices of such oscillators.
