N2 - Endolymphatic hydrops is the pathologic feature associated with Meniere's disease. The development of endolymphatic hydrops appears to arise from multifactorial ingeritance with alteration of endolympnatic homeostasis. Various factors associated wih the phenomenon of hydrops include functional or anatomic obstruction of endolympnatic flow, malabsorption of endolymph, genetic anomalies, vasodilation, allergy, viral infection, and autoimmunity.
