Abstract

Conceptual analogies are found between flexibility analysis and Lyapunov stability analysis. Numerical methods for flexibility analysis are used for Lyapunov stability analysis. • Bilevel programming for decay rate and DoA estimation • Stochastic programming for optimal Lyapunov function design Lyapunov flexibility is proposed as a new concept for dynamic processes. • General and efficient framework for nonlinear process systems • Further studies are needed to theorize its convergence/optimality properties and practical applicability.
