Abstract
The Technical Advisory Committee on Nonsmoking and Health was appointed by the Minnesota Commissioner of Health to develop a plan for statewide smoking control and for the promotion of nonsmoking in Minnesota. The report of the Committee recommendations and a review of the report is presented, highlighting those recommendations directed toward physicians and health care institutions.
