Abstract
Temperature distributions and heat transfer coefficients are determined experimentally for flow conditions similar to those in proposed nuclear waste repositories. Investigations were performed for continuous and discrete heat flux distributions in one heated wall for Reynolds numbers between 1600 and 88,700. A correlation for Nusselt numbers is presented for the modeled flow regime for Reynolds numbers between 1600 and 88,700.
