Abstract

Naltrindole (NTI) and three of its analogues, N-Me-NTI, oxymorphindole (OMI), and the benzofuran analogue (NTB) were examined in the opioid receptor binding and antinociceptive assays and they were found to have a selectivity profile similar to that in smooth muscle assays, i.e. very selective for δ-opioid receptors.
