Abstract
Old telephone directories (OTD) contain excellent fibers, with a mean length that is higher than that for fibers from old newsprint (ONP). The increased use of this material is hampered by two critical issues, including, printing ink and the bleachability of yellow pages. A new laboratory flotation cell that has good runnability and efficiency serves to solve these issues.
