Bibliographical note
Funding Information:Federal funding for research is likely to continue with variable budgetary support in the future. Yet the challenge of supporting the development of new knowledge in the nutrition support space will continue to grow as biological and technological innovations highlight challenges to clinical practice. Although the ASPEN Rhoads Research Foundation provides initial grant support for early career scientists, this Foundation funding alone cannot fully satisfy the funding needed for nutrition support research and discovery. ASPEN must remain committed to collaborative arrangements to facilitate and expand current research funding.
