Abstract

In soil erosion studies using the USLE in E.Oregon, slope steepness was the primary factor determining which combination of management practices was needed. Soil erosion could not be held below tolerance values in the wheat/fallow sequence for slopes over 20% using tillage and residue handling, terracing and contouring.-from Field Crop Abstracts
