Abstract

I am now considered an elder on my reservation it seems just a season ago that I was a little boy who spent my summer days running and playing in the woods. And it seems only one winter has passed since I was sledding with my brothers and cousins. In my dreams I still help my grandmother haul water from the spring. The seasons have passed so quickly. My heart still sings the songs of my childhood. I still feel but a child.
