Ultrasound detection using polymer microring resonators

Abstract

High Q-factor polymer microring resonators were experimentally demonstrated in ultrasound detection. They have sensitivity as high as 3×10-3kPa -1. We propose a method to form multi-element ultrasonic arrays for imaging applications.
